Details: The FIT Coalition invites you to attend a timely briefing on the massive boost that comprehensive Feed-In Tariff legislation would make for the future of the California economy.
Dan Pellisier, Deputy Cabinet Secretary for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, will provide opening remarks on the need to strengthen California’s path toward a clean energy economy. Hans-Josef Fell, member of the German Parliament, renowned as the co-author of Germany’s wildly successful Feed-In Tariff (FIT), the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG), will discuss the tremendous economic benefits Germany has experienced with their robust FIT and share insights into how California could move forward. Craig Lewis, Executive Director of the FIT Coalition, will discuss the recent UC Berkeley study, Economic Benefits of a Comprehensive Feed-In Tariff, and pending legislation in California on FITs. The event will be moderated by Dan Jacobson of Environment California.
