Clean Coalition Program Engineer Malini Kannan will present at a PG&E Energy Education Class, “Microgrids: Basic Applications, Technologies, Value and Economics,” which will take place April 11, 2019 in Sonoma, CA.
This class will provide attendees with a basic understanding of microgrid technologies and how to assess their value and energy savings possibilities.The day will conclude with a tour of the noted Stone Edge Farm microgrid, which contains a wide variety of energy and storage systems including PV, batteries, combined heat and power, hydrogen production, and fuel cells.The class covers the distributed energy resources commonly used in microgrids, their integration and control, and economic analyses.
