Clean Coalition Program Engineer Malini Kannan presented at the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) SoCal chapter event, “Microgrids: Basic Applications, Technologies, Value Economics,” which took place July 18-19, 2019 in Irwindale, CA.
This two-day class provided attendees with a basic understanding of microgrid technologies and how to assess their value and energy savings possibilities. The class covered the distributed energy resources commonly used in microgrids, their integration and control, and economic analysis. The wide variety of speakers presented case studies from microgrids in different commercial sectors.
